Git-R-Done Day 1/20/2011
Jill Conry with her baby quilt
Jill Conry, Neola, and Sheryl Thomas, Kirkman, joined me for Git-R-Done Day. We snacked on leftover popcorn from National Popcorn Day (1/19), and Jill brought a delicious triple berry cobbler (see separate post, with recipe). Jill was working on a baby quilt for her first grandbaby, due in the spring. She bought the sweet blue/chocolate kit from a vendor (she thinks from Wisconsin) at this year's AQS show in Des Moines. Sheryl was working on a fall flannel featuring a panel and flannels from Timeless Treasures. She worked on a custom layout. I was working on the store sample for the Strip Club workshop on January 27 & Feb 3. For lunch, Jill & I picked up salads at Pizza Ranch. That way, we could justify second helpings of her yummy cobbler. Marge was busy in the shop while we were in the workroom. She had visitors from all over the midwest (see separate post for a multi-generational show-and-tell).

Here's Jill's finished baby quilt. She sent an email on 1/27 and had it finished already.
