This blog is intended to be interactive. If you see something you like, post a comment; if you have a question, post it; and if you pieced the quilt, please post comments with information about the quilt fabric/pattern or about yourself. LET'S HAVE SOME FUN!

Sheryl Thomas finished her quilt!
Sheryl Thomas (see Git-R-Done blog from 1/20/11) must never sleep. She planned a quilt on Git-R-Done day using various flannels and a panel she picked up, and yesterday, she brought the finished quilt top in for us to quilt! Sheryl chose a simple layout so that the pumpkins and scarecrows would be the focus of her quilt top. She has chosen to have us quilt it in a simple meander. Originally, Sheryl had created a pieced back to the back of the quilt, but when she had it finished, she liked it so much, she decided to use it as a quilt top instead. She made a quick trip to Prairie Star Quilts in Elk Horn to pick up more flannel, so now she will have TWO quilts, instead of ONE. Prairie Star has an extraordinary selection of beautiful flannels, so if you haven't been there, it is time for a road trip. (and after you stop there for flannels, you should swing by Harlan to see us, as well :-)
