Is it groundhog day?
Ever had one of those days where you feel like you keep repeating the same mistakes over and over and over and over? Ever had one of those days... two days in a row?!? Notice the posts from this week. We have been quilting like crazy, getting lots of quilts finished (including 2 that we didn't get pics of), and then came the groundhog day quilt. Now don't get me wrong, it's a sweet, little flannel baby quilt. Jill Conry, Neola, has made this quilt (and several others) for her first grandbaby that is due this spring. It's a flannel cheater, and Jill chose to quilt it with Valentine Card design in Lavender thread by Signature. Jill's piecing, as always, was perfect! Nancy Watts loaded the quilt on Thursday evening, sure that it would be finished and off the frame before the store closed at 8:00. Not so lucky. Even with my help, we had a few operator errors, so we gave up and left it for Nancy Cook to finish today. Well, Nancy Cook and I have worked the whole day, and we've decided that we can't read a ruler right, or maybe there are gremlins in the computer. But each pass has proven to be a challenge. At 4:00, Nancy was ready to go to Casa de Oro for margaritas, and I offered to buy. It's now 4:28, the quilt is FINISHED. Groundhog day is over, and now we can go to Casa de Oro... I hope everyone has a great weekend!
