Look What's Quilting -- Katherine Wingert 3/12/11
Katherine Wingert brought in this scrappy quilt. The star blocks and background fabric are a combination of muslin and white/creams. Stars are set in a 9-patch unit of scrappy blocks. Katherine placed the 9-patches on point in the center of the quilt, then brought the pattern to the outer border. The overall effect is quite lovely. Katherine created the quilt as a gift. She had us quilt it in Ivory thread by Signature with Musical Note Meander quilting pattern.
