Look What's Quilting -- Marilyn Rauterkus 4/05/11
My husband's aunt, Marilyn Rauterkus, Omaha, does extraordinary embroidery. She has made several baby quilts in anticipation of great-grandbabies. Marilyn brought her granddaughter, Reese, along to pick out backing fabric for her latest quilt top, Noah's Ark. They chose a sweet pastel green from Windham. For the quilt, Marilyn chose Wave pattern in YLI monofilament thread. We'll add the binding, then Marilyn can add this one to her collection. Someday, her grandbabies will really appreciate these quilts.
