Show & Tell -- Sheryl Thomas
Sherl Thomas, the quilting cook, dropped in to show us the completed pillow coverings that she constructed from left-over fabric (she had stitched a John Deere panel quilt as a gift). We quilted the pillow tops with a simple muslin backing using Tractors design and Lt. Piper Green thread by Signature (same as the quilt). Sheryl added a fold-over backing, and they are ready for a pop-in pillow. Looks great, Sheryl!
While she was in the shop, Sheryl showed us the latest project she has been working on for her daughter, Ally. Sheryl came up with an original design to cutting and embellishing these large butterfly panels. What a great idea!
