Sneak Peek -- Embroidery Block of the Month

Are you ready for some wicked, witchy fun?  Sample Sewist, LeAnn Keenan, has been working on our sample blocks for a 10-month block-of-the-month embroidery quilt.  We are using a pattern designed by Ronene Wilkinson, of Oh My Bloomin' Threads in Utah.  Ronene is originally an Iowa girl.  The embroidered blocks have lots of details, and after studying the designs, LeAnn and I decided to go with a subtle color scheme.  The background fabric is a tan Kansas Troubles Favorite.  The main thread color is a walnut brown, with orange, green and purple accent threads.  We're coming up with an original setting design to highlight the embroidery.  We'll have the final sample ready to go sometime in March (you just can't rush a good thing).  Be ready to sign up!
